KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has blamed Khawarej, a reference to Daesh, for the blast at the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) in Kabul.
The “conspirators” would not be able to achieve their sinister designs through such cowardly acts, the interim government said after Wednesday’s attack.
In a statement, IEA said: “With a deep shock, we received news of Minister of Refugees Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani’s martyrdom in the barbaric attack.”
The statement called the martyrdom of Haqqani as an irreparable loss for the Islamic Emirate, the mujahideen, his family and all Afghans.
“Khalilur Rehman Haqqani, a tireless fighter in the way of Almighty Allah, spent his entire life waging jihad, migration and hardships in defence of Islam,
“A member of a large jihadi family, on Haqqani’s head the enemies of Islam had put a reward of five million dollars. Unfortunately, today he was martyred by the Khawarej who call themselves Muslims and declare other Muslims as takfir.”
