560 crime suspects arrested in 6 months in Logar

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested 560 suspects in connection with various crimes during the last six months in Mohammad Agha district of central Logar province, an official said Saturday.’

Mohammad Agha district police chief Maulvi Najmuddin Ayoubi told a press conference that as many as 560 suspects had been arrested by security forces in the district during the first six months of the current solar year.

He said the detained individuals included grabbers, thieves, murderers and drug traffickers.

He added these individuals have been introduced to judicial organs after initial investigations.

On the other hand, Musawir, an inhabitant of the district, told Pajhwok that he was happy over the detention of those involved in criminal activities.

He emphasized that these suspects should be publicly punished so that others could learn a lesson.

Last week, a gang of robbers was arrested in the same district.
