SHEBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A survey of pasture lands has been launched to separate government and private pastures in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Monday.
The governor’s house media office said a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs has arrived to inaugurate the survey in the province.
“The survey is aimed at identifying private and government pastures and solving people’s problems and was officially launched today,” he added.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Border and Tribal Affairs Maulvi Mohammad Ismail Ghaznawi said: “The technical team will carefully examine the area and contour all pastures in the province, the main goal of the survey is to separate government and private pastures”.
According to him, the process will not only bring transparency into the management of natural resources, but will also help reduce social tensions and solve people’s problems related to pastures.
After the completion of this process, good plans will be implemented for a fair use of natural resources such as pastures and securing people’s property rights, Ghaznawi explained.
Meanwhile, Governor Qari Gul Haider Shafaq assured the delegation that all Islamic Emirate departments and residents were committed to cooperating with technical teams to ensure that this survey was carried out well, and the government was also ready for any cooperation.
