KABUL (Pajhwok): Kyrgyzstan Ambassador to Kabul Daniyar Zhylchyv says his country wants to expand and expedite political and economic cooperation with Afghanistan.
He said this at a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Ababass Stanikzai here today (Thursday), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoF) wrote on its X handle.
It said the two sides discussed enhanced bilateral political, economic and trade relations between Kabul and Bishkek.
Underscoring progress in political and economic engagement with Kyrgyzstan, Stanekzai called it as a crucial step towards fostering mutual economic development.
Expressing Kyrgyzstan’s interest in investment and cooperation in key sectors such as mining and agriculture, Zhylchyv also stated that his country is interested to expand and expedite political and economic cooperation with Afghanistan.
He also announced high-level Kyrgyz officials would pay visits to Afghanistan in the near future.
