Blast in Turkish explosives factory kills 12

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 12 people were killed and five others were injured as a blast ripped through an explosives factory in northwestern Balikesir province of Turkey, media reports said on Tuesday.

Balikesir province governor Ismail Ustauglo told Anadolu the roof of the factory collapsed completely after the explosion.

The explosion occurred this morning exactly where capsuls were produced in Balixir district of the province.

Multiple health workers and emergency teams reached the scene for investigation and assistance.

The reason after the explosion remains unclear, but the Turkish government ordered the prosecution office for an investigation in this incident.
