KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate does not allow armed groups to operate on Afghanistan’s soil, says Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Maulvi Abdul Kabir.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony at the Kabul University, the deputy premier said levelling groundless accusations against Afghanistan served no purpose.
Maulvi Abdul Kabir stressed: “The Islamic Emirate doesn’t allow armed groups to operate on its soil, and levelling false allegations against it led to the deterioration of relations and increased tensions.”
He acknowledged the Kabul University was playing an effective role in promoting education and grooming youth in Afghanistan.
He added the interim government had provided the necessary facilities to support educational institutions across the country.
The deputy premier told the audience the country's education system was in line with Islamic and Afghan values -- not influenced by external forces.
Two days ago, Kabir told a graduation ceremony at a seminary in Paktika province that the caretaker government had launched efforts to alleviate poverty, and the national economy would grow in coming years.
