FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): A religious scholar died and two other people were injured in a traffic accident in Raghistan district of northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Thursday.
District Chief Maulvi Mohammad Asif Zafaryar said the accident took place when a vehicle overturned in Dehshar area of Khulodsak village on Wednesday.
He said a religious scholar died and two others were injured in the accident. The injured were evacuated to a health center for treatment.
The accident occurred due to damaged road.
