Iranian police commander killed in suicide attack

KABUL (Pajhwok): The head of police intelligence has been killed in a suicide blast in Iran’s southern city of Bandar Lengeh, a media report said on Sunday.

The suicide attack happened on Saturday in the coastal city of the southern province of Hormozgan, local media reported.

Tasnim news agency said Commander Mujtaba Shahieedi Takhti “was targeted” in the deadly attack.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
