Dr. Faridullah Omari, a trainer and specialist at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Kabul, told Pajhwok that COVID-19 cases used to surface in the country, but they were fewer compared to the past.

According to him, currently, one or two COVID-19 patients visit the hospital daily, but their condition does not require hospitalization.

He explained that these patients experienced symptoms such as a cold or flu, fever, and cough.

Dr. Omari advised people with such symptoms and respiratory issues to seek medical attention at a health center as soon as possible.

He urged the public to take health precautions seriously, such as washing hands frequently with soap and water and wearing masks.
