KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) says it has purchased Turnitin and Grammarly software for the first time to standardize research and prevent plagiarism in universities.
On its x.com, the MoHE wrote that every student in universities and higher education institutions conducted research on a specific topic at the end of their bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, and in this research, some people committed plagiarism.
The source said from now on, by distributing this software to universities, monographs, theses, and professors' promotional works will be further improved and plagiarism will be prevented.
Grammarly has also been purchased to further standardize academic articles for journals of educational institutions and professors.
According to the source, articles or books are posted in these software and if they have been copied from someone else's book or article, it is marked.
