Luxembourg gives Afghanistan $1.5m in humanitarian aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): Luxembourg has contributed $1.56 million (EUR 1.50 million) to support humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan, says to the United Nations Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan (UN-STFA).

In a post on X, UN-STFA expressed gratitude, saying: “Thank you, Luxembourg, for your generous contribution of $1.56 million (EUR 1.50 million) to @UN_STFA!”

This support means hope for Afghan families and communities facing significant challenges. The funding provides opportunities for basic services, livelihoods, and resilient communities for a better future

Earlier, South Korea also announced $5 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
