GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Five people have been killed in a traffic accident in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident occurred when two passenger vehicles collided on Kabul-Kandahar highway in the Aab Band district on Wednesday night.
He said that five individuals lost their lives in the crash, and their bodies were transferred to Ghazni Hospital.
The accident was attributed to reckless driving and icy road conditions.
