Chechnya ready to play role in strengthening Kabul-Moscow ties

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) considered the security and stability of the region as the security and stability of the country and national interest, an official said on Thursday.

Acting Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said this during a meeting with Umar Jamboulat, head of the Chechnya Sciences Academy, and his delegation, a statement from Arg said.

He said Islamic countries have religious, cultural, and social commonalities with Afghanistan, and hoped that mutual relations would be expand based on these commonalities.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said Russia has good experience in infrastructure construction in Afghanistan and hopes that the country will play a significant role in Afghanistan's reconstruction.

He said that the IEA linked the security and stability of Afghanistan with regional stability and saw its interest in regional stability.

The IEA sought interaction with countries in the region and the world, but is never ready to compromise on Islamic and national values.

During the meeting, the President of the Chechen Academy of Sciences expressed his pleasure at his visit to Afghanistan and emphasized the development of scientific, religious and cultural relations and the start of economic cooperation between the two countries.

He said that he is trying to play a positive role in strengthening relations between Afghanistan and Russia and wants to expand relations and increase cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
