KABUL (Pajhwok): The Shaheed Nasim team was crowned champions of the sixth edition of the Kabul Futsal Premier League, the Afghanistan Futsal Committee (AFC) announced on Thursday.
The 13-team tournament, which began about a month ago, concluded on Wednesday night.
In a statement, AFC said Shaheed Nasim won the championship, while the Zahir Asad squad secured the second place.
By virtue of their performances, both sides earned the right to participate in futsal competitions at the zonal level in the country.
In the sixth round of the League, the Best Goalkeeper Award was presented to Abu al-Fazal Rahimi, the Best Goal Scorer Award to Omid Qanbari, and the Best Player Award to Farzad Mahmoodi.
