Fitrat rejects Pakistan’s minister terrorism related allegations

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan IEA has again rejected Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaj Asif’s claim regarding the active presence of terrorist organistations in Afghanistan.

Asif claimed that Afghanistan was a center of recruitment and facilitation for ISIS-K, and various other groups, including the TTP, and these groups have active presence.

IEA Spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat in an audio clip said: “These claims by the Pakistani side are false. The Islamic Emirate has repeatedly stated and proven in practice that it does not allow foreign groups to operate in Afghanistan, nor does it allow them to pose a threat to other countries from Afghanistan. On the contrary, ISIS financing and production centers are operating in Balochistan and some other areas of Pakistan, and it appears that they have received permission to operate under their umbrella and are carrying out destructive acts.”

He added that everything is documented and evidence is available.

Fitrat said that Pakistan's security incidents was a domestic issue of that country and had nothing to do with Afghanistan
