Man allegedly commits suicide in Maidan Wardak

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): A man has reportedly taken his own life in the Hesa-i-Awal Behsud district of central Maidan Wardak province.

According to a statement from the National Disaster and Preparedness Department, the man's body was recovered by security forces, hanging from a tall tree in a forested area of the district.

While the exact motive behind the apparent suicide remains unclear, local security forces have launched an investigation into the incident.

Suicide is strictly prohibited in Islam and is considered a major sin. Religious scholars emphasize that individuals should not resort to taking their own lives, even in the face of life's challenges.
