KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) has imposed six years ban on the Khadim FC team of Sar-i-Pul province for quitting the fourth round game of the Afghanistan Atalano League in the middle, a statement said on Monday.
Khadim FC quit the fourth round game of Atalano League in the middle and did not resume the game which was played in Herat province, the statement said.
“The Judicial Department of the Football Federation, in accordance with Article 9 of the Disciplinary Code and in accordance with Articles 5th, 6the, 16th, and 26th of the said code, has imposed a fine of 250,000 Afghanis on the Khadim FC football team from Sar-e-Pul province”.
The team will also be banned from participating in the Afghanistan Champions League for the next six years, the Sar-e-Pul Provincial Football League for three years, and the A-League of the same province for two years.
Based on the decision, the team's manager, Javed, will not be able to participate in any football, futsal, or beach soccer activities for the rest of his life.
Separately, this year, in the sixth round of Buzkashi competition, the Sar-e-Pul provincial team was banned from playing in the Buzkashi league for three years for not appearing in the final, contrary to the regulations of the Volleyball Federation.
