FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): The Hindu Kush Eagles team has climbed up the 3,280-metre Safed Koh peak in western Ghor province.
Team leader Jan Mohammad Haidari told Pajhwok Afghan News they scaled the highest peak of the mountain on Friday.
He recalled: “Our team has previously climbed up the 3,350-metre Siah Koh peak south of Ferozkoh, the provincial capital.”
Haidari added the competition was aimed to enhance physical endurance and prepare for participation in inter-provincial contests.
The Hindu Kush Eagles team organises weekly expeditions in various parts of Ghor province.
