PUL-I-ALAM/KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Anti-Crimes Department in central Logar province have seized dozens of weapons and elsewhere seven people were arrested on the charge of disrupting public order in northern Kunduz province.
Logar’s Anti-Crimes Director Maulvi Nik Wali Jan told the media security forces seized 182 weapons during the past nine months.
He said these weapons included M4s, Kalashnikovs, weapons, night vision goggles, and other weapons and ammunition.
He did not provide information about the number of people arrested in connection with these weapons, but explained these weapons were seized in cooperation with civilians.
Meanwhile, about 650 individuals have been detained on charge of different crimes in the past six months in the province, police said.
Separately in Kunduz province, police spokesman Juma Din Khaksar told Pajhwok Afghan News seven suspects were detained in connection with disrupting public order in first police district on Saturday.
The arrested suspects after initial investigations will be handed over to judicial organs.
