5 Afghan shuttlers to vie in Iran competition

KABUL (Pajhwok): Five badminton players will participate in the Fajr International Challenge 2025 in Iran, the National Olympic Committee said on Thursday.

On its X handle, NOC wrote the five badmintons would travel to the neighbouring country to participate in Fajr International Challenge 2025.

It said the competition would be held from January 28 to February 2 in Iran’s Semnan city. Three players from Afghanistan and two from Germany will represent Afghanistan.

According to NOC, 100 badmintonists from 20 countries will take part in the event.
