ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Twenty-seven alleged human traffickers have been arrested in southwestern Nimroz province, an official said on Saturday.
Crime Branch Chief Mawlavi Attaullah Mustafa told Pajhwok Afghan News the suspected human traffickers have been arrested during the past 48 from Zaranj City with a Rickshaw.
“Our personnel have arrested 27 traffickers during separate raids in Zaraj City,” he said without providing more details.
Nimroz, the Director of Combating Criminal Crimes, clarified that the arrested persons are currently under investigation and after the various stages of the investigation, their files will be handed over to the judicial authorities.
