KABUL (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s supreme leader Sheikh Haibatullah Akhundzada has underlined the need for unity among Afghans.
He issued the call for national cohesion while addressing a graduation ceremony at a seminary in southern Kandahar province on Monday.
Highlighting the imperative of unity among Afghans, he called the current Islamic system the outcome of a long struggle -- not a gifted to the Afghans.
Addressing the ceremony, the IEA supreme leader urged graduates to prioritise safeguarding Islam. He advised them not to fear or be influenced by threats and always uphold the truth.
Sheikh Haibatullah encouraged the students to learn from the lives of the companions of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
