KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) says all its weapons and military equipment are secure and no one is allowed to misuse them.
On Wednesday, Foreign Office spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan claimed weapons left behind by US forces in Afghanistan posed security concerns for Pakistan.
He said the weapons were being used by certain groups to carry out attacks in Pakistan.
In response to the claims, IEA’s deputy spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat said all Afghan weapons and military equipment were being strictly guarded and monitored.
According to him, no one is allowed to misuses these weapons or military equipment. Fitrat rejected Pakistan’s claims as baseless.
