KABUL (Pajhwok): The World Health Organisation (WHO) has delivered 10 metric tonnes of medicine to six health centres in northeastern Badakhshan province.
The UN’s medical agency wrote on its Facebook page it had provided a variety of medicines to six remote health centres in Badakhshan.
It said the donated medicines, intended for the treatment of pneumonia, measles and malnutrition, were purchased with financial assistance from Japan.
More than 3,000 people in the province would benefit from the aid, the oganisation concluded.
