3 policemen killed, 6 wounded in KP attack

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least three policemen have been killed and six others wounded in a militant attack on a check-post in the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The overnight attack resulted in the killing of at least three police personnel and injuring of six others, Geo News reported, citing local authorities.

The attackers, armed with heavy weapons, launched a barrage of gunfire at the check-post in the Bahadurkhel area of the city.

Police immediately arrived at the site, cordoning off the area and launching a search for the perpetrators.
