KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) has published three books for the advancement of research work in higher education institutions, a statement said on Thursday.
In a statement, the Ministry's Research, Compilation and Translation Department, said that it has compiled and published, for the first time, a monograph writing guide for (natural and social sciences) in Pashto and Dari, a research project guide for postgraduate programs (master's and doctorate), and a guide for writing scientific works (research, compilation and translation) by academic staff members of civilian higher education institutions in order to standardize research in educational institutions.
By reproducing and implementing these guidelines, a single format for writing monographs will be created, separate guidelines will be created for scientific and social sciences, research will be integrated into a single system, plagiarism will be prevented, and significant facilities and efficiency will be created in various fields of research.
This comes as the Ministry of Higher Education announced on January 7 that it had purchased Tarnation and Grammarly software for the first time in order to standardize research and prevent plagiarism in universities.
