Modi, Trump set to discuss strategic cooperation

KABUL (Pajhwok): Indian’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Washington to meet US President Donald Trump, a media report said on Thursday.

Reuters reported Modi would discuss comprehensive and strategic cooperation between New Delhi and Washington with Trump.

“Modi's discussions with Trump are expected to focus on areas such as two-way trade, energy, technology and immigration”: the report added.

The US president and the visiting prime minister will also address a press conference. Earlier, Trump had invited Modi to visit the US.
