AIBAK (Pajhwok): At least four people have been wounded as a result of a hand-grenade blast inside a mosque in the capital of northern Samangan province, an official said on Saturday.
Police spokesman Hashmatullah Rahmani told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place in the Joy Zhwandon village of Aibak, the provincial capital,.
He said four people, who were offering Friday prayers at the mosque, were injured in the explosion.
Rahmani added that two local residents, having a personal dispute with some members of the mosque's community, were involved in the incident.
The suspects have been arrested along with a shotgun in connection with the grenade attack, according to the police spokesman.
