Heavy rain, snowfall expected in 26 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) on Tuesday predicted heavy snowfall and rainfall in 26 provinces.

On its X handle, MoTCA wrote that heavy rainfall and snowfall will likely lash Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Ghor, Daikundi, Bamyan, Ghazni, Paktika, Khost, Paktia, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Kabul, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar, Nuristan, Panjsher, Kapisa, Parwan, Badakhshan, Takhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Balkh and Sar-i-Pul provinces.

The amount of snowfall in different places is expected to be between 10 and 30 centimeters and the amount of rainfall in different places is expected to be between 15 and 35 millimeters.
