KABUL (Pajhwok): Hailing the achievements of private educational institutions, acting Higher Education Minister Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem urged the institutions to maintain their trust among the people.
In a statement, the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) said a number of private educational institutions were praised during a ceremony at Kabul University.
Nadeem said: “We all must obtain both religious and modern education evenly and serve our people and the country.”
He praised the achievements made by private educational institutions and said all such institutions were praiseworthy.
Addressing representatives of private educational institutions, Nadeem said: "Nothing in society is more important than trust. Try to maintain your trust in the people and the country."
Representing private educational institutions, Ahmad Jan Popal also addressed the gathering and promised that they would continue to serve the country and the people side by side with the educational institutions of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) and would double their efforts in this regard.
According to MoHE, six private educational institutions were distributed appreciation letters for their positive achievements.
