KABUL (Pajhwok): One individual has been stabbed to death and five policemen have been injured as a result of a knife attack by 37-year-old man in France, a media report said on Sunday.
The Voice of America reported the attack occurred in Mulhouse city at a demonstration in support of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Police reached the site to assist in the investigation after a 69-year-old man was killed and five police personnel were injured while trying to prevent the attack.
The attacker was identified as a 37-year-old Algerian citizen who was arrested and his name was put on a special watch list for the prevention of terrorism.
Ten days ago, an individual had been killed and four others injured in a similar assault in Austria.
