JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A child has been killed and five other persons wounded in a roof collapse incident in the Koat district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Sunday.
Police Spokesperson Sayed Tayyib told Pajhwok Afghan News that the roof of room in a house in the Hindaro locality collapsed on Saturday evening.
One child was killed and one child and four women were wounded due to the roof collapse, he added.
The injured have been shifted to the hospital and their health condition was stable.
Zahir Khan, the resident of locality, said the victims are economically unsound and the roof was collapsed because it was very old and was affected by rainfall.
