KABUL (Pajhwok): About 2,465 foreign nationals arrived and left the country through land and airports during the past month, the National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) said on Monday.
In a statement, NSIA wrote it registered that 1,311 foreigners, including 36 female, entering entered and 1,154 others including 23 females leaving the country in last one month.
During this period, 1,285 people entered the country through land ports and 26 others by airports, about 193 of them visited ancient and historical sites and the rest for work, the report added.
According to the statement, most of the foreigners entered via Nimroz port, Herat Airport and, Torkham, Aqina and Hairatan Ports and Balkh Airport.
NSIA did not reveal nationalities of these foreigners.
