KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 120 tankers loaded with low-quality fuel were denied entry at ports in Farah, Nimroz and Balkh provinces last month, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said on Thursday.
The Department of Petroleum Products Quality Control and Monitory of the MoF last month denied entry to 124 fuel tankers at ports in Nimroz and Farah provinces, a MoF statement said.
Eighty-eight tankers were sent back from Abu Nasar Farahi Port in Farah, 33 tankers of diesel and three tankers of gas in Nimroz were rejected during the past one month.
It is pertinent to mention that in the past low-quality fuel was denied entry at ports of the country.
