3 children injured in Nangarhar landmine blast

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three children have been injured in a landmine explosion in the Haska Mena district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Friday.

Police spokesman Sayed Tayyib Hamad told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident occurred in the Kotwal area of the district late on Thursday.

He said the children were injured when an old landmine detonated. The victims were taken to the zonal hospital for treatment, and their condition is said to be stable.
