Child killed, 3 injured in Kapisa roof collapse

MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): A child has been killed and three others have been wounded as a result of a roof collapse incident in the Nijrab district of central Kapisa province, authorities said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the governor’s office said the roof a house caved in due to rainfall, killing a nine-year-old child and injuring three members of his family.

The statement added security personnel and Emergency Situations Committee members had been dispatched to the area to assist the family. The injured were taken to a local health centre.
