Ramadan volleyball tournament kicks off in Ghor

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): A two-week long Ramadan volleyball tournament has kicked off in western Ghor province, an official announced on Saturday.

Head of physical education and sports Hayatullah Tawhidi said the event was aimed to promote the game in the province and mutual acceptance for the local community.

He said the first match was played between Itehad-e-Noor and Kandiwal teams, with the latter winning the game 3-0.

A few days ago, Ramadan Futsal Cup, featuring 12 teams, was organized in Firozkoh city to welcome the arrival of the holy month.
