Man’s dead body found in Maidan Wardak

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): The body of a man has been found with a weapon in central Maidan Wardak province, police said on Sunday.

In a statement, the police headquarter said security forces found the dead body of a man with a weapon in the mountains of Jangjai village in Syedabad district.

It was unknown how the man was killed, but the body has been shifted to forensic medicine for further investigation.

According to the police statement, the body was found a few days after a clash broke out between nomads and Jangjai villagers. Three members of a family, a father and his two sons, were killed in the conflict.

The suspects had fled, but five of them were arrested in southern Ghazni and central Logar provinces and security forces are trying to arrest other suspects.
