TALOQAN (Pajhwok): A man has been arrested on the charge of killing his mother in northern Takhar province, an official said on Thursday.
In a statement, police spokesman Qari Zabihullah Hakimi said the man stabbed his mother to death after a verbal argument in Chahaab district last night.
He said the suspect was arrested after a comprehensive investigation by security forces.
According to Hakimi, the case has been handed over to relevant organs for initial investigation.
