Arian Cycle wins Ghor’s Ramadan futsal title

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): The Ramadan Futsal Cup in western Ghor province has concluded, with the Arian Cycle team emerging victorious.

The tournament, featuring 12 teams, was held in Ferozkoh, the capital of Ghor, coinciding with the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

Jan Mohammad Haidari, the head of the Football Federation of Ghor, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the final match was contested between the Arian Cycle and Baran teams. As a result, Arian Cycle defeated Baran 4-3, securing the championship title.

Haidari also said that the Baran team claimed second place in the competition.

The tournament, which lasted for three weeks, was organized with the aim of promoting sports, fostering youth unity, and celebrating the holy month of Ramadan in Ferozkoh.

The futsal competition received a warm reception from the province’s residents, with many participants viewing the event as an effective way to promote sports and encourage youth participation.
