1 motorcyclist killed, another wounded in Faryab

MAIMAINA (Pajhwok): A 22-year-old man has been killed and another wounded as a result of a traffic accident in the Andkhoi district of northern Faryab province, an official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Maulvi Abdullah Muradi said the accident took place when two motorcycles collided on the Andkhoi-Aqina highway on Friday night.

He said one motorcyclist lost his life, while the other was wounded in the collision.

Last week, a traffic accident on the Andkhoi-Shiberghan highway had claimed the life of one individual, wounding a 14-year-old child.
