LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Eighteen people were injured as families of two brothers clashed in southern Helmand province, an official said on Saturday.
Information and Culture Director Hafiz Abdul Bari Rashid told Pajhwok Afghan News the clash surfaced between two brothers over a property dispute in old bazaar area of Gereshk district on Friday.
According to him, during this conflict, a son of one of the brothers lobbed a hand grenade, which caused injuries to 18 people, with two of them sustaining critical injuries.
Rashid explained the suspect who threw the grenade has been arrested by security forces and was being investigated. He would be handed over to judicial organs soon.
