CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): At least four robbers, posing as mujahideen (members of security forces), have been killed in a clash with police in the Syedkhel district of central Parwan province.
The clash occurred in the Kamangar area of the district on Tuesday night, according to a statement from the police headquarters.
It said: “The group had been carrying out robberies in various parts of the province, posing as security personnel. The operation took place at 7:30pm when the armed robbers barged into a house.”
The statement added two weapons were also seized from them during the firefight, which left one police official wounded. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
