FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): A child has been killed by a lightning strike in the Pasaband district of western Ghor province, security official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Maulvi Abdul Rahman Badri told Pajhwok Afghan News the freak incident took place in the Burj Kakari area of the district last night.
Over the past couple of days, Ghor province as received heavy rains, followed by the lightning strike.
