FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Over 70 political, social differences, murder and family feuds were resolved during the past one year in western Ghor province through mediation and jirgas, local officials said on Saturday.
Mullah Mohammad Hassan Furqani, provincial Tribal and Borders Affairs director, told Pajhwok Afghan News the number of cases resolved during the past one year was significantly high. “We succeeded to resolve over 70 different cases in Ghor of which seven were murder feuds.”
Local officials keep their efforts on to put an end to all the existing differences among people so that all could live in an atmosphere of brotherhood, he further added.
