6 killed in New York helicopter crash

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least six people, including three children, have been killed when a helicopter crashed into New York City’s Hudson River.

According to Al Jazeera, all those on board—comprising the pilot and a Spanish family on a sightseeing tour—lost their lives.

Two of the victims were initially rescued and taken to a hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.

“At this time, all six victims have been removed from the water. And sadly, all six have been pronounced deceased,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams said during a press briefing on Thursday.
