Man kills son in Nangarhar’s Hesarak district

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A man has shot dead his son in the Hesarak district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Sayed Tayyeb Hammad told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident occurred on Wednesday night in the Mohammad Kala area of the district.

Without going into details, Hammad said the suspect, identified as Sultan Mohammad, gunned down his son Allah Nazar.

He added security forces had arrested the killer and handed him over to judicial authorities for prosecution.
