KABUL (Pajhwok): Six Afghan nationals lost their lives in a traffic accident in Iran’s Kerman province, according to media reports.
The ISNA news agency, quoting Sayed Mohammad Saberi, head of the emergency department in Kerman province, reported that the incident occurred around 1:34 PM on Thursday on the Baghin–Bardsir highway, about five kilometers from the city of Kerman.
Saberi said a Peugeot 405 vehicle carrying Afghan nationals overturned, resulting in the deaths of six individuals at the scene. All the victims were men between the ages of 20 and 35.
Four others—also men in the same age group—were injured in the accident. According to Saberi, the condition of one of the injured is critical.
Following the incident, three medical response teams were dispatched to the scene to provide emergency assistance.
