KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 93 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reports.
Global condemnation is mounting after Israeli forces fired warning shots at foreign diplomats visiting the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday.
The United Nations chief spokesperson said the limited humanitarian aid “finally” entering Gaza was “nowhere near enough to meet the needs” of the famished population.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 53,655 Palestinians and wounded 121,950, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The Government Media Office updated the death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
An estimated 1,139 people had been killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023 and more than 200 were taken captive.
