Man detained for wife’s murder in Ghazni

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A man has been arrested on the charge of killing his wife in southern Ghazni province, police said on Wednesday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said the man allegedly killed his wife four days ago in the Chaltan area of Andar district.

The statement linked the incident with domestic violence and said the accused had confessed to his crime.

The detainee would be referred to judicial organs after initial investigation, the statement added.
